Let us enrich ourselves from within: traditional values and essential subtle experiences

Mystical experience, as the highest state of consciousness, is true human wealth. We cultivate it by developing virtues such as truthfulness, compassion, honesty, and kindness. Being close to people who embody these values, or visiting sacred places, helps foster this inner and spiritual connection.

Visit a sacred place and awaken your inner vibration

This high-frequency energetic vibration, belonging to the subtle and transcendent realm, is hard to put into words. however, when visiting such places, internal spaces open up that bring great value and a deep, authentic calm. a sense of authenticity is felt, connecting with our deepest and highest self.

WHERE WE ARE

BURG, our village

We have lived here for 25 years! We’ve seen the seasons come and go, year after year.

It is known for its tranquility, spectacular landscapes, and proximity to natural areas like Aigüestortes National Park and Estany de Sant Maurici. It’s an ideal place for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking the peace of the mountains.

The village retains a rustic charm, with traditional houses and a very authentic atmosphere. Additionally, the area offers various activities such as hiking, climbing, fishing, and wildlife and plant observation. Its location allows you to enjoy breathtaking views and the calm that the Pyrenees provide.

Burg is a small village located in Pallars Sobirà, in the Lleida region, surrounded by nature in the heart of the Pyrenees.
We are 15 neighbors living here year-round—friendly, attentive, and always generous!

A place with history

Burg has a rich and ancient history that dates back to Roman and medieval times. It was likely a rural settlement dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming activities that are still alive today.

During the Middle Ages, this area was part of several territories and lordships, and it held strategic and economic importance due to its proximity to mountain passes and trade routes. Traditional buildings, such as stone houses and small churches, reflect that historical past and the way of life of its inhabitants through the centuries.

Moreover, the area’s historical heritage also includes elements related to rural life, like mills, stone walls, and structures linked to agricultural and livestock activities, which have been essential for the survival of its people for generations.

The Fiesta Mayor of Burg

The Fiesta Mayor, held in honor of Burg’s patron saint, is a local celebration—small but deeply traditional and authentic. It is a highly anticipated event for people throughout the region, where the community spirit is alive and the identity of the village is celebrated.

WHERE WE ARE

In the Pyrenees of Pallars Sobirà, where you can feel the deep heartbeat of nature.

At the highest point of Catalonia, where the mountains seem to touch the sky and silence has a presence, rise the Pyrenees. This ancient and majestic mountain range holds within its folds one of its purest treasures: Pallars Sobirà. A region where nature is not only seen but breathed, walked through, and deeply felt.

Here, the landscape rules everything: rugged mountains, glacial valleys, lakes that reflect the sky, and forests that change with the seasons. Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is a refuge of biodiversity, with over 200 lakes, pure rivers, and ancient forests that shelter both wildlife and the human soul.

The Noguera Pallaresa River flows down from the mountains, connecting landscapes and giving life along its path. Around it live species such as the brown bear, deer, and bearded vulture. Silence—broken only by water or birds—envelops lakes, rivers, and forests that provide refuge to wildlife… and to the soul.

Walking through Pallars Sobirà is entering a world still untouched, where the human footprint is gentle and respectful. Paths cross forests, alpine meadows open under the sun, hidden lagoons nestled among mountains, and clear skies that, at night, fill with stars like few places on earth. Here, nature is not a backdrop—it is a living presence.

The seasons set the rhythm of the land. Winter blankets the peaks with snow, offering profound silence and austere beauty. Spring awakens life, melts the paths, and fills the fields with flowers. Summer brings long days, cool waters, and vibrant greens. And autumn, with its burst of ochres and golds, turns the forests into dreamlike landscapes.

Pallars Sobirà, in the purest heart of the Pyrenees, is a place where nature is preserved, protected, and lived with respect.

It is not just a destination but a vibrant ecosystem, a school of balance, and an invitation to reconnect with what truly matters.
